Optimizing Supply and Demand with AI Solution for a Global Food Company

Project Overview

This project involved developing a Proof-of-Concept or POC system for a leading food company, to improve their supply and demand forecasting for their products. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), we aimed to create a AI Demand Forecasting system that could predict demand fluctuations and suggest optimal supply levels, minimizing waste and maximizing profit.

  • Our Process

    We collaborated closely with their data team to understand the various sources of data impacting demand and supply. Through meetings with key stakeholders, we gained a comprehensive understanding of our client’s business processes and the challenges associated with demand forecasting.We adopted a hybrid development approach to develop the POC system and demand generation system. Using Python and TensorFlow, we built and trained an ML model to predict future demand based on historical data and relevant factors. We even used React to create an interactive dashboard that visualized the predicted demand and recommended supply levels.
